Louise is a Director, Accredited Family Law Specialist, and Collaborative Lawyer, and holds a Masters in Family Law.
Louise is an experienced, skilled and empathetic family lawyer. She is a thorough adviser, and provides commercial and pragmatic advice.
Louise started her career working on complex commercial litigation matters in a top tier firm. Following this, Louise focussed her career on family law. Louise’s particular strength is complex financial disputes, including property settlement, spouse maintenance and third party issues. Louise also has extensive experience in complex parenting matters, including those involving relocation, risk and parental alienation issues.
Louise’s experience as a lawyer has made her acutely aware of the effects of conflict on people. Louise assists her clients to avoid unnecessary conflict and encourages dispute resolution models including mediation, and collaborative practice. However, if the matter is unable to be resolved Louise is well equipped to represent her clients in litigation.
In 2021, Louise was recognised as a Recommended family lawyer by Doyle’s Guide.
Louise has been a presenter and panellist for Queensland Law Society, College of Law, Family Law Section and LawSense, and regularly contributes to the Family Law CCH publication. Louise has also served as a board member of the Queensland Association of Collaborative Practitioners.
